EP282 – ‘Little Penguin’ fun and easy winter paint along tutorial

Hello again, beautiful artists!

Frosty season is almost here! This week we’re painting one of my favorite animals, a super cute little penguin. I can’t believe we haven’t done a penguin painting yet. This video premiered today on YouTube, so grab your brushes and paint along with me.

Brushes needed for this tutorial:

Generally, I use brushes that are either square-shaped or “wash” brushes in one-half- to one-inch sizes:

• 1-inch wash brush: https://amzn.to/3aa5D8z

And pointed brushes in a “medium” or “small/detail” size

It’s ok if your brushes are slightly different sizes; use what you are most comfortable with as long as it’s made for a water-based medium.

You’ll also want an old toothbrush for the snow splatter (one that won’t go back to the bathroom!), plus palette paper and a water cup.
