Host your own group painting class in Salem, Oregon or surrounding metro area!
Paint Along With Skye offers group painting classes in Salem Oregon for small and large groups. We like to call them “paint parties.” We don’t have a “brick and mortar” studio that is open to the public, what we offer is “pop-up” art classes in Salem and will travel from Eugene to PDX. (Travel fees may apply).
We can teach up to 30 painters, and have a minimum of 6 for private classes. If you don’t have a venue, many local venues will host. Classes are designed for adults but also suitable for children ages 7 and up. Just contact us and we will be happy to work with you on arranging your private painting party in Salem or the surrounding area.
The cost for our group painting classes is $35 for our basic Acrylic class, and includes all of your art materials and 2 hours of guided, step-by-step instruction. (Alcohol is not included, but it is encouraged).
Choose a painting from the concept gallery or commission us to create a custom painting!
How to book: Give us a call at (503) 586-9495 or fill out the contact form below.

Skye has been teaching acrylic and watercolor painting for almost a decade within the popular “sip and paint” movement. In 2015, she started Paint Party SLO, in San Luis Obispo, California which has since been handed off to friend and fellow artist Cassandra Frey and remains in operation.
In 2019, she launched “Paint Along With Skye,” which offers paint parties and paint and sip events in Salem, Oregon, and on Youtube, so that her popular paintings could be completed by artists at home as well, thus reaching a wider audience.
Skye specializes in teaching beginners and has a non-fussy, realistic and approachable outlook on art and creativity. “Most people don’t want to sign up for a 12-week course and spend hundreds of dollars on expensive brushes and paints and hundreds of hours mixing colors,” Skye explains.
“And through my teaching, I’ve noticed that grades and judgment often stopped us as kids from pursuing creativity further. Not with my classes! I think art should be for everybody, and there is no wrong way to do it! That being said, you’ll still learn a lot about color mixing, and different traditional and personally-developed techniques in my classes, but the point is to relax, get creative and have fun, whether it’s at one of my classes or painting along at home.”
Skye resides in the magnificent Pacific Northwest with her Pomeranian Bear and also enjoys hiking, photography, and dance.
